Desi…EWWW…YUCK

Never have I despised a word as much as the word “desi”.

I prefer “South Asian”.

Seriously, my ears itch when I hear this word. It’s weird.

You know when you are young and utter a bad word and your mom says she is going to wash your mouth out with soap?

When I hear “desi” I feel that I’ve heard something so yucky that I need to scratch it out.

Typing or reading this word has the same effect.

Excuse me while I try to get my ears and fingers to vomit.
